At the last business meeting, we approved the roof repair proposal, which amounts to about $175,000. It is critical to move forward, because the longer we wait the more damage is caused by the weather. The property committee has done a terrific job of handling this. The Houston Endowment has given us $100,000 toward the repairs. We have decided to borrow the remaining $75,000 from the our maintenance fund, but to pay it back within 5 years in order to keep the fund whole and growing.
